Founder
Who I Am
I'm Jawid Hassim. I build software. Not in the romantic “garage startup” sense — I literally enjoy making things work, solving problems cleanly, and shipping products that people actually use. My background is a mix of design, development, and a lot of self-taught engineering. I’ve worked across enough roles to know what matters and what doesn’t.
Why I Started SmartQ
SmartQ wasn’t created to “redefine digital ecosystems”. I started it because I kept building tools for people, and those tools kept growing into full products. At some point it made more sense to put them under one roof and keep going. That’s it. No mythology.
Every product here exists because someone needed it, I could build it, and it turned out to be useful. That’s the entire philosophy.
How I Work
I prefer simple architectures, clear logic, and products that don’t fight their users. I don’t chase trends. I don’t build things for pitch decks. I build what makes sense, what’s technically sound, and what can run reliably without drama.
